Technical Background:

Efflorescence on stone and tile surfaces occurs when water-soluble alkaline substances from concrete, adhesives, or mortar seep through joints, leaving white deposits on the surface. This common issue impacts the appearance of surfaces, especially in areas with high moisture, like pool edges or entrances. Conventional waterproofing on the stone surface alone cannot prevent this issue.

Hanshi 130, a milky liquid polymer, is designed to prevent efflorescence by integrating directly into adhesive mortars or tile adhesives. It locks in alkaline substances, ensuring stone and tile surfaces remain clean and free from stains.
